From 12 to 15 April 2011, the International Military Exhibition LAAD 2011 took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Our company participated in this event in the national pavilion of Romania, financed by the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment at the PATROMIL request.

Although this event is already a tradition in the international military exhibition circuit, LAAD 2011 continues to attract a growing number of exhibitors, as their number almost doubled compared to the previous edition.

Our company has participated more than once to the LAAD exhibition and given the fact that Brazil is part of the BRIC group (Brazil, Russia, India, China), countries with the highest growth rates including during the crisis, CN ROMARM SA was and remains interested in this market.

Together with CN ROMARM SA -  Headquarters, branches like UM TOHAN BRASOV SA, SC ELECTROMECHANICAL PLOIESTI SA and UM MIJA SA have also participated with booths.

In the inauguration day, major State Chiefs from Brazil have visited the exhibition, most delegations also seeing the ROMARM stand.

Ms. Alina Oana Dociu - Interim Consul in General Consulate of Romania in Rio de Janeiro was present at the romanian stand, welcoming the participation of Romanian companies in this important event.

We believe that Romania's participation at this exhibiton was a tremendous opportunity to make us known on the South American market and beyond, to get in touch with the demands and needs of states in this region and to present the romanian products and services from the defense and security field.
