The 12,7 mm MG is similary to DSHKM heavy machine gun. I tis offered as independent weapon destinaed for armoured fighting vehicles mounting an don tripod carriage for anti-aiercraft and ground firing purposes. It this last  case the tripod is equipped with an armoured shield for gunner protection. Feeding is from metalic belt, held in 5 ammunition boxes, each of them containing 50 rounds.
